Kirill Kornakov – ChaWay

Kirill is a passionate entrepreneur and tea sommelier. As co-founder of ChaWay, he blends a strong interest in wellness, culture, and community with a drive to bring authentic tea traditions to modern life. During his studies at NHL Stenden, Kirill created ChaWay with a simple mission: to reintroduce meaningful tea ritual into busy urban routines, making high-quality tea, cultural ceremonies and mindful experiences accessible to everyone.

Under his leadership, ChaWay has evolved from a small student project into a full-fledged movement. Kirill guided the company through multiple pivots. From a tea marketplace to personalized subscription boxes, to the concept of mobile tea ceremonies, always focusing on authenticity, quality, and human connection.

Through ChaWay, Kirill aims to give people a moment of calm in their busy lives: an opportunity to slow down and experience tea as a cultural bridge. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring global tea traditions and travelling, transforming every cup into a journey.
